As Assistant Director of Outreach and Engagement, Maddie leads initiatives that strengthen connections between students, community colleges, and industry partners through the College of Professional and Continuing Studies. She focuses on developing transfer pathways, supporting employer partnerships, and creating opportunities that help students take the next step in their education or career. She is especially passionate about working with adult learners and transfer students, bringing a relationship-driven approach to outreach and engagement.
Prior to transitioning to higher education, Maddie built a multifaceted career as a librarian, data analyst, director of a nonprofit, business manager, and consultant for industries such as construction, healthcare, and manufacturing. These experiences allow her to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultivate strong networks across the region.
Her research interests—student achievement, the psychological well-being of students, transitions in career paths, and strategies for navigating change—inform her approach to building partnerships and programs that support student success.
